What’s new for 2023?

The Toyota Corolla Hybrid for the latest model year has refreshed visuals in both the front and rear. Last year’s version had only one configuration but there are now three trim levels of the new Corolla Hybrid. All-wheel drive is now available and the Toyota Corolla Hybrid SE gets a firmer steering system. Toyota is introducing a newly-developed motor and battery for the hybrid system along with a next-generation infotainment system.

Trim levels

The new Toyota Corolla Hybrid for 2023 has added a sporty SE model and a premium XLE trim to give buyers from Clovis and Madera CA a total of three models to choose from.

Engines and performance

The 2023 Corolla Hybrid combines a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, one of which has now been updated for the latest model year. There’s also a new lithium-ion battery for 2023 in every Corolla Hybrid and every model has a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front wheel drive was the only configuration in the past but all-wheel drive is now available.

The new 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid can now go from zero to 60 mph in just 9.8 seconds, an improvement over the 10.3 seconds in last year’s model.

Fuel efficiency

The Toyota Corolla hybrid for 2023 has increased horsepower without a significant reduction in fuel economy. The latest version of the Corolla hybrid now gets an incredible 50 MPG in the city and 43 MPG on the highway with front-wheel drive. If you go with the newly available all-wheel drive system, fuel efficiency is still outstanding at 47 MPG in the city and 41 MPG on highways around Selma and Lemoore CA.

Interior comfort and cargo space

Other available features include proximity keyless entry, a push-button start system and a moonroof.

Safety technology

The extra assurance of a rearview camera comes standard in the new Toyota Corolla Hybrid. So does a forward collision warning system, a pedestrian detection system, a lane departure warning system and adaptive cruise control to help you maintain a safe distance from the car in front of you. You can also upgrade to the available blind-spot monitoring system and rear cross-traffic alert.
